Sohmmusic creates emotionally supportive, live acoustic music sessions designed for senior living communities, care spaces, and healing environments. These sessions are rooted in connection, presence, and cultural awareness.

• Weekly Acoustic Sessions: 45 to 60 minutes of familiar songs, original compositions, and optional traditional melodies from Nepal. Calm pacing, emotionally attuned, and responsive to the energy in the room.
• Biweekly or One Time Performances: For birthdays, holiday events, or seasonal gatherings. Custom themes available.
• Private In Home Sessions: For families seeking a gentle, personal musical experience for a loved one.
• Retreats – Return to Sound: Ten day nature and music retreats held in quiet settings around the world. Each retreat blends live acoustic sessions, group connection, and space for rest and reflection. Designed for those seeking reconnection, calm, and emotional depth.

Meet the Team

SOHM – Lead Musician and Program Designer

SOHM is a Los Angeles based composer and acoustic performer, originally from Nepal. With roots in both Western songwriting and indigenous folk traditions, he creates calm, emotionally attuned sessions that support connection and presence. While SOHM leads most offerings, other trusted musicians may step in when he is traveling or collaborating elsewhere.

Lala – Business Development and Program Consultant

Lala is an associate therapist with experience in substance use recovery, family systems, and nature based interventions. She leads business development at Sohmmusic and contributes to the design of community music sessions. Her insights help shape the emotional tone and structure of the work we offer.
